Here are some highlights that demonstrate my leadership experience.
Administrative Experience
Dean of Students
September 2022- Present
In my most recent administrative role, I am the Dean of Students at my elementary school. In this role, I adhere to disciplinary protocols in our code of conduct while utilizing reflective practices and school wide positive reinforcement incentives.
Administrative Assistant
May 2021- August 2021
May 2022- August 2022
I served as an administrative assistant for our district’s summer school program in 2021 and 2022. I shared administrative tasks, which included coordinating and implementing systems and routines for the program. Some examples of these tasks included creating a schedule and system for teacher, substitute, and TA coverages/availability as well as creating the biweekly newsletter.
Administrative Internship
March 2020- December 2020
The educational leadership courses through the College of St. Rose’s CITE program and my leadership experiences within my school district have advanced my understanding of challenges and rewards involved in leading a school.
My administrative internship took place in the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic and I was able to observe, learn, and practice what true servant leadership looks like. I have meaningful experience in restructuring school-wide systems, developing NYS testing schedules, creating and implementing differentiated resources district-wide, collaborating with colleagues to develop virtual learning platforms, as well as providing professional learning to colleagues.

Girls on the Run: District Coordinator & Head Coach

In 2018, I collaborated with the Girls on the Run organization to introduce the program to the William Floyd community. After running the program at my school for the past three years, I have helped coordinate and extended this curriculum-based life skills program to now three other elementary schools in our district.
Lead Elementary ENL Ambassador
September 2018- Present
Serving as a lead ENL Ambassador, I have collaborated with the elementary ambassador team members to develop and present professional learning opportunities for district wide staff.
